Antonine Weche

July 7, 1932 — December 28, 2019

Antonine Weche

Antonine Weche was born to the parentage of the late Lexina and Mme. Cilia Vincent Weche on July 7, 1932 in Chadonette, the province of  Jeremy, Haiti. In 1957, Antonine migrated to Port-au-Prince, Haiti in search of a better life. In 1967, she moved to Puerto Rico. In 1977, a new life began as our Heavenly Father guided Antonine into making the United States of America her permanent home. While living in New York for 32 years,  Antonine

decided to relocate to Florida in 2009 to be with her family.

As a loving and caring woman, Antonine pledged her love unconditionally in Holy Matrimony to the love of her life, the late Roland Lafleur. The Lord blessed Antonine with 6 children, in whom 3 deceased. Antonine was a hard working wife and mother who strived to succeed and who cared deeply for her husband and all of her children.  She loved her family and her family loved and cherished her in return. She instilled the highest level of morals and values into her children who will undoubtedly pass on the same teachings to their children as part of her legacy.  She made sure her children knew God first, their Haitian culture and the will to serve. They will always remember her as the devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend that she was.

Antonine’s love and devotion flowed from her heart then to her family. She had a giving heart.  Antonineenjoyed telling stories about how Haiti was a paradise and spending time with her family and friends. Anyone who became acquainted with her quickly realized that she had a good heart and a wonderful spirit.  She was filled with a deep love for God, immeasurable loyalty, steadfast beliefs, and an undying love for her family.

On Saturday, December 28, 2019, Antonine Weche Lafleur entered into  paradise. We know that she is gone in the flesh but she will always be in our hearts. Her kindness can never be replaced.  Servant of God well done, rest from thy love employ, the battles’ fought, the victory won enter Thy Master’s joy.
