Bernadette Monestime

Bernadette Monestime, 70 years old, was born on November 30th, 1947 in La Pointe Des Palmistes, Haiti to the parentage of the late Gabriel Pierre Louis and Roselie Monestime. Bernadette completed her studies at L'Ecole Beraca, La Pointe Des Palmistes. She left Haiti in 1979 and resided in Freeport, Grand Bahamas. In 1986 she moved to Miami, Florida and just months after, she moved to Orlando, Florida where she permanently resided. She was employed at Quality Inn for about 3 years and spent about 10 years at Radisson Inn, as a housekeeper. She later retired from Swan and Dolphin Hotel in 2012 as a Stewardine. When she wasn't at work, Bernadette spent her time at church serving as a deaconess. From an early age, Bernadette was a follower of Christ, and upon her confession of Faith in Christ, she was baptized at the age of 19 and was a faithful servant of the Lord. She exemplified the fruit of the spirits daily. When she led service, she did it with such life and enjoyment that was contagious. Her worship was always spiritually filled and uplifting. Our Father needed an Angel and knew she would be the perfect match, so on Monday, December 25th, 2017 Bernadette was called Home to begin her new journey in Heaven. She leaves to cherish the memories of her wonderful life: Her children: Bernard Monestime & (Naider); Nadege Norelus, Wedner Monestime, Reginald Cenatus, Marvin Civil & (Bettina); Bernes Francois, Cassandra Francois & (Luc Albert St. Fleur) Her grand-children: Vanessa & Alexandra Monestime; Austen & Kadeen Norelus; Mahlakhi Auguste; Jeremy Bell; Mykhiyah, Mahliyah, & Mariah Francois; Julianna, Jaliyah & Jaleesa Civil; Mykhaihl Saint Fleur; Brandon & Katie Cenatus Her siblings: Benita, Bertrand & Wisly Denis & families; Rose Manie Denis-Leger & family; Neptune, Silotte, Marie Rose, Minerve & Alcide Pierre Louis & their families Her nieces & nephews: Loveline Augustave; Varda, Emma, Nelide, Nasseeka, Andy, Nerhval & Lonsard Denis; Lovely, Nephtalie & Matthew Pierre Louis; Benoit Saint Hilaire Extended Families: Pierre Louis, Monestime, Francois, Saint Fleur, Denis, Telfort, Paul, Mesidor, Noel, Saint Hilaire, Alcime, Dupret, and a host of other families and friends who have been affected by this loss.
