Dr. Sampson Saint Felix

In the tapestry of life, we are often blessed to encounter individuals who radiate warmth, intelligence, and an unparalleled sense of humor. Dr. Sampson Saint Felix was one such remarkable soul, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, who left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Sampson’s journey began in Haiti on November 8, 1992, a day that would mark the beginning of a life filled with purpose and compassion. He was born into a world that would soon come to cherish his presence, and his time with us would be defined by dedication, achievement, and a commitment to making the world a better place.

From a young age, it was evident that Sampson possessed a brilliant mind. He embarked on his academic journey in South Florida where he grew up with great determination, ultimately graduating with a Bachelor's degree in December 2015. This was a testament to his hard work and dedication, a mere stepping stone toward the greater heights he would reach.

The turning point in Sampson’s academic career came in January 2018 when he proudly donned the symbolic white coat. This moment marked the beginning of his journey towards becoming a Doctor of Pharmacy, a path that would see him touch countless lives with his knowledge and benevolence. His relentless pursuit of excellence culminated in June 2021 when he earned his doctorate, a feat that made his family, friends, and mentors swell with pride.

But Sampson was not only a scholar; he was a true luminary in his field. His outstanding achievements led to his induction into the prestigious Rho Chi Society in October 2019, an honor society for pharmaceutical sciences. This accolade showcased his commitment to advancing his profession and served as an inspiration to those who followed in his footsteps.

Beyond academia, Sampson was a beacon of laughter and joy. His quick wit and infectious humor brightened even the darkest of days. He had the unique ability to turn any situation into a moment of levity, reminding us all of the power of laughter in times of sorrow.

In addition to his academic and comedic prowess, Sampson was deeply committed to his community and causes that mattered to him. He was a member of various organizations, including Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated and the Haitian American Pharmacists Association, where he continued to learn, grow, and give back.

Sampson was not just a remarkable individual; he was a beloved brother to his two siblings Fredo and Urlande, an amazing uncle to the beautiful Brielle and the handsome Josiah and a cherished godfather to Marc-Richna Gaspard, Sofia Campbell-Ramos, Dario Delices JR, and Josiah SaintFelix-Castor. His capacity to love and nurture extended beyond his immediate family, as he touched the hearts of many with his kindness and compassion.

As we gather here today to bid farewell to Sampson Saint Felix, we remember a life well-lived, a life filled with love, laughter, and achievements that will forever inspire us.

Dr. Sampson Saint Felix is survived by his loving father Fisner Saint Felix, devoted brother Fredo Saint Felix, caring sister Urlande Saint-Felix, cherished niece Brielle SaintFelix-Castor and adoring nephew Josiah SaintFelix-Castor. All of whom carry on his memory with love and fond remembrance.
