Elourdes Luma Dacine

Elourdes Luma Dacine was born on July 30, 1957 in Petit Goave, Haiti where she was raised and went to school. She grew up in a family of five, three sisters and two brothers.  When one of her sisters passed away, our mother took my aunts children in and took care of them as her own.  Mrs Elourdes was a mother of 7, 5 sons:  Willeme Joachin, Wilson Joachin, Wismy Joachin, Eddy Joachin, Willio Joachin and 2 daughters: Milouse Joachin, and Edith Joachin. She took good care of us and     provided for us no matter what the circumstances. She came to the USA in 2009 and married Fritz Luma.  She went attended Mid Florida Technical College and worked at the same time to provide a better life for her family in Haiti and still made time for us in the USA. Mrs. Elourdes was a wonderful and an amazing woman, whenever she entered a room she lit it up. She was always eager to help no matter the problem we had. Our mother was full of joy, she was our best friends, her greatest quality was to encourage us the make the best of everything, she enjoyed music especially Gospel music and loved to sing.  Every day at 12 she would tune in the radio and ask for prayers because she believed that prayer is one of the most powerful key to heaven. It is difficult to imagine that our mother is not around and we are all not sure how we will cope. She was a vibrant mother.

On Monday, March 26, 2018, Mrs Elourdes Luma Dacine was tragically snatched from our lives and replaced with memories and tears. A tragedy for all those affected by this loss

Mother, we all want to thank you for everything you’ve given us, And we will miss you dearly.

She leaves to cherish her memories:

Her Cousins: Rose Marie, Myrtha Louis, Altyde Dienis, Dickenson Jeune, Anite Mauriste, Williame Jeune, Rose Laure Joassaint and a host of other family and friends who have been  affected by this loss.
