Emerson Felix

Emerson Felix, 7 years old, was born on April 25, 2017, in Orlando, Florida to Andre Jeanne Sylvain and Fanor Felix. He attended Catalina Elementary School in Orlando where he was an exceptional student and friend.

Emerson was a very loving, caring and kind young child and brought joy to any situation. He was versatile with many passions, like he could be teaching us a new language one minute and then showing off his dance moves the next. He loved learning! Emerson enjoyed dancing, playing ball with his baby cousin, Jaden, video games and, of course, chocolate milk!

His teachers could summarize his life as he could put a smile on anyone’s face. He was so eager to learn. He loved reading but science was his favorite. He was our little scientist and desired to become an Astronaut. Emerson’s classmates loved him. He fit in our little class family perfectly.

He was the type of young child that anyone would be proud to call son, grandson, nephew or friend. He made a huge impact on all who were a part of his life.

Emerson was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, the Sylvains of Haiti. Emerson is survived by his parents Fanor Felix and Andre-Jeanne Sylvain of Haiti; his Aunts Elasse Sylvain, Genie Sylvain, Edith Sylvain, Anite Sylvain, Andrerose Sylvain, Andremene Sylvain, & Ejuste Sylvain; his Cousins Yvecalex Gourdet, Carl-Henry Sylvain, Ichniden Herisse, Abetna Jacquet, Alex Herisse, Paul Jacquet, Shaynaiyeh Sylvain, Jerica Sylvain, Jason Charleston, Benita Jacquet and a host of many other cousins and friends.

He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
