Mrs. Francesca St. Lot was born on 22nd December 1949, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She was the second child of 9 children born to Françoise and Marc St Lot. After completing high school in1965, she went to Ecole normal de Port -Au- Prince where she gained her first degree in Education. She graduated with honors in 1969 and had a successful career as a teacher for 25 years. She went on to teach Math, Social Studies and Literature in Lycée Petion and numerous schools in the city. Francesca married Pierre Milfort on December 8th, 1972. They raised 2 Daughters and 2 Sons. Mrs. St. Lot moved to Miami FL in 1994 due to political issues and was heavily involved in the local community working with disadvantaged children. She went on to earn her Early Childhood Education Diploma working with kindergarten and as a substitute teacher at Head Start then on to acquiring her Nursing Assistant license. In 2016 she was forced to retire due to chronic leg pain. When not out jogging or walking, Francesca could be found in gospel concerts with friends or families and listening to Diana Ross on Sunday’s whilst making her favorite dish (macaroni au gratin). In addition to her passion for music and praise, Francesca enjoyed spending quality time with grandkids while teaching them Bible stories. Out of all her education and accomplishments, she always put God first and was devoted to living the life of a true Christian. Francesca was one of the kindest people you could ever meet and was always willing to open her home to many children and people over the years. She will be sorely missed.
