Geralde Pierre-Louis

Mrs. Geralde (Larrieux) Pierre-Louis was born on November 3, 1938, at Cayes, Haiti to the late Winer Larrieux and Renee Raymond. She had 2 siblings: Franck Larrieux, her brother, who preceded her in death, and Marie Lindor Netus, her sister. On March 10, 1966, Geralde Larrieux married Jean Daniel Pierre-Louis who completed his life journey on June 21, 2022. From this union, God blessed them with 5 children: Daniel Antoine, Gerald and Gerdany (twins), Daphney, and Shirley. She had 2 sons-in-law: Rene Pierre-Louis, Greger Jean-Baptiste, and 6 grandchildren: Melissa, Allison, Kevin, NicholasPierre-Louis / Ceydric and Lharissa Jean-Baptiste. Geralde Larrieux studied nursing and education, but she had a preference for the latter, and teached at Republique du Paraguay, College Bird. After the death of one of the twins, Gerdany, on May 31, 2000, she moved to Florida and stayed with Rene and Daphney Pierre-Louis for a few years and helped with the children. She took a break and went to Haiti for a while. She came back to live in Florida in 2017 and dealt with serious health issues that required medical interventions. After experiencing several mini strokes, she became bedridden until her Creator called her on October 13, 2023, very early in the morning, at the age of 84. Geralde Larrieux was a believer, a caring person, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her immediate family, nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, friends, and loved ones. All the good times spent with Geralde Larrieux were precious and will remain in our hearts. We hope that someday we will meet again and be reunited forever and ever in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus-Christ.
