Gerard Jean Maurice

Mr. Gerard Jean Maurice was born on October 3, 1945 in Leogane Haiti to the parentage of Maurice Jean Maurice and Sinelia Silai (both deceased). He completed his studies and left Haiti in 1979. While residing in the United States, Mr. Maurice worked for The Orlando World Center Marriott for over 30 years, met and married Marie Therese Poliard on September 7, 2002, at Pine Castle Church of Christ where he attended faithfully.

Mr. Maurice was a hard worker, a wonderful husband and father who loved his family.  He loved to exercise every morning and he took pride in everything that he did, whether it was work or family related.  He loved a good joke and love to laugh. He enjoyed the presence of his grandchildren and he love to watch a good movie and catch up on the nightly news.  Mr Maurice enjoyed dressing up in his favorite suit and best hat. He also made it a point to let everyone know how much he loved Barack Obama.

Gerard Jean Maurice was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Sharing the memories of his wonderful life are:
