Irma Monpremier Moreau

Irma Monpremier Moreau, a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. 

Irma was born in Haiti in the beautiful city of Port-de-Paix on December 29, 1966. She had a wonderful childhood. Irma completed primary and secondary education in Haiti. She met her first husband while she was in high school. This union produced two children: Erline and Mathurin Alexis.

 After Irma’s divorce with her first husband, she remarried to Sulfa Mompremier and had one more child, Nachama Mompremier. 

After migrating to the U.S., she quickly assimilated into the new country. She gave her life to Christ, and God instilled in her a strong will and determination which gave her a great sense of hope and security. 

Her life had many obstacles. In so many ways, she was able to show that love to us. She showed us with devotion and prayer, nothing is impossible in Christ. 

Being with her family was what Irma enjoyed the most. Irma’s most treasured joy was her grandchildren. Everyone who knew her knew how much she loved Aymin and Ahva, unconditionally. And if you did not know, she would surely tell you and show off with pictures and videos saying “My grandchild.” 

Irma went from labor to rest on February 02, 2025. As we move forward in remembering Irma’s life and legacy, we remain grateful to the Lord for all the years and memories that we shared. 

We love you, Mom, always and forever. Thank you for the laughs, thank you for the memories, thank you for the hard work you demonstrated to your children. Most of all, thank you for the life you lived. We will see you again! 

Irma is survived by her mother : Marie Ocianie Oge. Husband: Sulfa Mompremier;  children: Mathurin Alexis, Erline Alexis, and Nachama Mompremier. Grandchildren: Ahva & Aymin; Mot.. Sisters: Altagrace Laborde, Vierta Moreau, Nicole Moreau, Marie Conceptia Moreau, Nirla Moreau. Brothers: Vernet Moreau, Jackson Moreau, Krety Moreau. Brother in law: Yves Laborde. Daugter in law: Joanne Alexis. Nieces: Samantha, Angie,Vanessa, Christie, Gina, Marjorie. Nephew: Yvenson, Clint, Evans, Isea, Gina & Natacha. Aunt: Tante Vivie. Cousin: Enerve, Yvon , Pasteur Marc Renald Marc Athur Shnader, Stecha Laborde, Rosemene, Conceptia, Ersn, Nathalie, Berline, Lucette, Martha & a host of other relatives and friends
