Jean Edens Olivier was born on April 4, 1962 in Baraderes, Haiti, to the late Telord Clement and Sainteda Olivier. He studied accounting and agriculture in his home country of Haiti.
Jean enjoyed playing sports such as soccer, he played soccer at a young age. He loved to workout and never went a day without it. He was a caring man, always putting others first. He was a man who truly loved God, his wife and children.
Jean left Haiti and moved to the U.S. after marrying his wife Nardien Oliver in March 2014. That’s when his entire world changed completely, and he had to adjust to a new family, environment, and way of life.
Jean was a man who loved his family and always went above and beyond to ensure that they were well taken care of. Compassionate, hardworking and loving are just a few words to describe a remarkable man. Despite his illness, he remained the same gentle, loving and kind man. Jean was a dedicated husband, father, in all, a great family member who wanted the best life he could provide for his family. He was a strong man. A man with drive, ambition and hard worker. We know that he is gone in the flesh, but he will always be in our hearts. Jean’s kindness can never be replaced. We grieve deeply because he is no longer with us. However, we are grateful the Lord blessed us with his presence. We will miss him dearly and he will remain in our hearts forever. He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brothers.
On Monday, June 24, 2019, Jean Edens Olivier was called Home to be with the Lord.
