Jean Lesly Vallon

Jean Lesly VALLON est ne le 6 décembre 1957 des épouxdécédés : Jean Mardy VALLON et Marie VEILLARD VALLON, à Port-au-Prince. Il a fait ses études primaires à l’école nationale Jean François CAUVIN ou il était très brillantet ses études secondaires au lycée Alexandre PETION ou il étaitégalement très remarquable de sa performance. Apres ses études secondaires en 1978, il a intégré la faculté des sciences humaines de l’Université d’Etat d’Haïti en communication ou il a passe seulement quelques mois, puisqu’au commencement de l’année 1979, il a laisse Haïti pour venir s’installer aux Etats-Unis d’Amérique. Delà étant, il a entrepris de brillantes études, d’une part en Sciences infirmières, notamment en Diététique et d’autre part soit à York Collège, des études en Sciences de l’enseignement jusqu’à l’obtention d’un Master. De cette étude ,Il a passe tout le reste de sa vie a enseigne au Centre d’incarcération des individus purgeant leur peine correctionnellejusqu’à l’obtention de sa pension à peine trois années de cela. Entre temps, Il a publié un livre sur le compas directe, la musique dansante haïtienne, il a mis aussi au service du public son talent de journaliste et d’animateur car Il animait sur une des radios haïtiennes émettant a New York une émission ou l’onparlait un peu de tout. Homme très respectueux et respecte des autres pour sa sagesse et son esprit de franc collaborateur aimantaider les autres se trouvant en situation difficile. Grand bricoleur dès son enfance, aimant innover en fabricant à chaque fin d’année des petites maisons lumineuses en carton a l’occasionde la fête de Noel, communément appelées :<>. Il organisait des championnats de football a l’occasion des vacances d’été, il jouait aussi bien au foot, parfois lors des championnats organisespour des enfants de 10 ans, C’était bien lui qui confectionnait la coupe à remettre au champion. Dès son enfance, Il avaitégalement le sens d’un enseignant puisqu’il savait donner des leçons particulières aux enfants et aux jeunes du quartier, ou il habitait, Il veillait aussi assidument aux études de ses jeunesfrères et sœurs. Il attirait et sympathisait avec beaucoup d’amiset d’admirateurs car Il ne ménageait pas sa force, son temps et son rang social afin de partager avec eux ses connaissances et savision intellectuelle, même son économie ne s’est pas non plusépargnée, si bien qu’il avait crée une école gratuite au niveau de la plaine de la croix des bouquets. Père de 4 enfants, respectivement : 1-Daphney VALLON 2- Webny VALLON 3- Aimy VALLON 4- Leavy Immanaelle VALLON Sa disparitionconstitue une perte énorme non seulement pour sa famille, maiségalement pour ses proches, ses alliés et amis qui ne cessent de nous témoigner ce vide difficile à combler. Somme toute, nous devons savoir et admettre que tout le monde doit passer par cettevoie, soit qu’on parte en catégorie de bebe, enfant, jeune, moinsjeune ou vieux c’est une question de destin et de jour Qu’il ensoit ainsi ! Que son âme se repose en paix loin de toutes les tumultes de cette drôle de vie, loin des chicanes quotidiennesorchestrées par des assoiffés de biens terrestres et d’argentfacile. Vas-y notre frère, on se verra un jour. Bon voyage auprèsde notre Seigneur le DIEU créateur et d’amour. Que la terre tesoit légère !

Jean Lesly VALLON was born on December 6, 1957 to Jean Mardy VALLON and Marie VEILLARD VALLON (both deceased) in Port-au-Prince. He did his primary studies at the Jean François CAUVIN national school where he was a very brilliant. He continued his secondary studies at the Alexandre PETION high school where he was also very remarkable in his performance. After his secondary studies in 1978, he joined the faculty of human sciences of the State University of Haiti in communication where he spent only a few months. In the early months of 1979, he left Haiti to come and settle in the United States of America. From there, he undertook brilliant studies, on the one hand in Nursing Sciences, notably in Dietetics. He also attended York College, majoring in Teaching Sciences until obtaining a Master's degree. As a result of this degree, he spent the rest of his life teaching at the Incarceration Center for individuals serving their correctional sentence until obtaining his retirement three years ago. In the meantime, he published a book on the direct compass and Haitian dance music. He also put his talent as a journalist to engage the service of the public as he hosted a program on one of the Haitian radio stations broadcasting in New York. He used his platform to educate the community and he talked about everything. A very respectful man he was. He was respected by others for his wisdom and his spirit as a frank collaborator who loves helping others in difficult situations. A great handyman from his childhood, loving to innovate by manufacturing little luminous cardboard houses at the end of each year for Christmas. He organized football championships during the summer holidays for children. He also played football, sometimes during the championshipsthat he organized for well over 10 years. He would make the championship cup himself to give the winning team. From his childhood, he also had the sense of a teacher since. He knew how to give private lessons to the children and young people in the neighborhood where he lived. He also assiduously watched over the studies of his young brothers and sisters. He attracted and sympathized with many friends and admirers because He did not spare his strength. His time and his social rank was given in order to share with them his knowledge and his intellectual vision, even his economy was not spared either. He invested soomuch so that he created a free school on <la plaine de la croixdes bouquets>.

He was the Father of 4 children: 1-Daphney VALLON 2- WebnyVALLON 3- Aimy VALLON 4- Leavy Immanaelle VALLON.His transition constitutes a huge loss not only for his family, but also for his loved ones, his allies and friends who continue to show us this void that is difficult to fill. All in all, we must know and admit that everyone must go through this path, whether we go into the category of baby, child, young, not so young or old, it is a question of destiny and of the day. so be it! May his soul rest in peace far from all the tumults of this strange life, far from the daily chicanery orchestrated by those thirsty for earthly goods and easy money.
