Jeanne C Pierre

Jeanne Cloréne Pierre, known as Tata to her loved ones, was born in Hinche, Haiti on April 21, 1929. She was the daughter of Laurena Gauthier and Deima Pierre and had two brothers and one sister. In her younger years, Jeanne worked as a nurse helping expectant mothers’ welcome new life in the world. In 1998, she migrated to the United States and resided in Pompano Beach, FL for over 25 years.

Jeanne was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and cherished member of her community. A woman of strong faith, she gave her life to Christ and was baptized on the first day of October 2004 at SDA Bethlehem Church. Jeanne had a bright smile and kind spirit who was always eager to help those in need.

Jeanne transitioned to be with the Lord on June 24, 2023 at the age of 94 and leaves behind many family members and friends who will miss her. May she rest in peace in the hearts and memories of all who loved her.

She is survived by her four children: Ebel Guilbaud, Rose Marie Jessie Guilbaud, Emmanu Desravine and Jude Pierre; four grandchildren: Jennifer Pierre, Alex Pierre, Shekina Pierre, and Julia Pierre; and several nephews and nieces in Haiti.
