Jeannine Cesar
Jeannine was born on July 6, 1953 at General Hospital in Port-au-Prince Haiti to George Cesar and Aimee Laguerre. She helped to take care of her family in Haiti by working as an assistant accountant all while going to culinary to do what she loved most; cooking! Jeannine left Haiti at the age of 26 to come to America in pursuit of the American dream.
Jeannine lived with her brother Ernest and his wife, who helped support her, while in trade school to become a nursing assistant.Jeannine stayed in the healthcare field for over 39 years of her life. In July of 1981, she gave birth to her one and only son, Reynald Harris. Years later in June of 1986, she gave birth to her one and only daughter, Fitoviola Joseph. She decided to raise her children in Orlando, FL. As a single mother, she maintained 2-3 jobs her whole life to be able to accomplish this. She was so blessed that she even fostered a total of 4 children in the DCF system, showed them the love and structure of a mother, and treated them as her own. She ran a strict household so that her children could have access to all of life’s possibilities
Jeannine had many talents including being fluent in French, French Creole, and English. She also loved raising animals and always had a home full of dogs, birds and fish. She loved to sewand was able to fix any imperfection in any garment. She loved to cook (very well) and feed people. She loved to take care of people, even if they were sick, hungry, broken or sad. She was the real modern day Wonder Woman.
On July 27 at 11:39pm Jeannine was called to our Lord to finally do something that never had time to do; rest. She will forever be loved and missed by many. She leaves behind:
Her Son; Reynald Harris
Nephew whom she raised: Brenohaire Cesar
Her Daughter: Fitoviola Joseph
Her Grandchildren: Raimiree and Rey’Nyla Harris
And a host of other family members and friends who have been affected by this loss.
