Jemima Louis

Jemima Louis was born in Port-au-Prince Haiti on December 16, 1983 to Margana Hilaire and Davius Louis. She attended school at Ecole Baptiste Fond des Negres.

At the age of 12 Jemima left Fonds des Negres to Port- au-Prince to finish her secondary school studies. At the age of 19 Jemima left Haiti and came to United States on April 29, 2003.

Jemima attended Lindsey Hopkins to learn English then went to Sunshine Training Center where she studied Nursing Assistant and obtained a license in June 2006. Jemima was working at Winn-Dixie from June 2005 until May 2021. She then found a better paying job at Amazon on May 2021 until her death.

On September 17, 2020 Jemima married the love of her life Marc Bourdeau where they began a beautiful life together until her death. Jemima was a loving wife, a dedicated daughter, a caring sister and Auntie, and a friend to many.

On August 20, 2021 Jemima was admitted to Jackson North Hospital and stayed there for one month. On September 20, 2021 Jemima took her last breath leaving behind her family, friends and loved ones.

Jemima is survived by the love of her life Mr. Marc Bourdeau , mother: Margana Hilaire, father: Davius Louis; grandmother: Ismenie Exelus; step mother: Marie Louis; sisters: Rosena Sene Charles Philliassaint, Jonalda Sene Charles, Neke Louis, Diana Louis, Makayla Louis; brothers: Elysee Hilaire, Bryan Louis, Jean Louis, Kevin Louis; nieces: Philliassaint Witza, Jaraelle Zaira Philliassaint, Nemirah Desravines; nephews: Arly Estelin Hilaire, Leo Bosse, Lolange Ridgeson; uncles: Wilner Hiliodain, Titi Hiliodain, Padelo Hiliodain; and a host of other family members and friends affected by this loss.

The family addresses a supreme farewell to our beloved Jemima Louis. Your souvenir will be imperishable and live forever in our heart and memory. Rest in Heavenly Peace!
