Judith Pierre-Louis

Judith Pierre-Louis was born in Port-Au- Prince, Haiti on September 29, 1966 to her mother Fernande Pierre-Louis and her father Jacques Mathurin. She was raised in Portail St. Joseph and she used to love traveling to Bainet to be with her grandmother and her cousins during the summer.

While in Port Au Prince, Judith completed her primary school at Dominique Savior then transferred to Frank Etienne for her Secondary School studies. At the age of sixteen (16) she
traveled to the USA to join her mother Fernande, in Miami, Florida. She continued her studies at Miami Jackson Senior High School and received her High School Diploma in 1986. Judith's favorite subject was her Dance class. She continued her studies and worked as well in many places. Her most recent place of employment was Baptist Health of South Florida at the Miami Cancer Institute.

She was the first born of four (4) siblings (her sister Eunide, her late brother Johnny, and her brother Roland Junior). Beside her siblings, she was raised very closed to her cousins, uncles and aunts. Judith loved her family and loved being with all of them taking trips and attending every event.

After she graduated in 1986, she began working & had her first child, Milkennson Charles. As an independent and a phenomenal mother as she was to her first born son, her primary focus was to work hard & doing her utmost best on everything she put her mind to. In September 1996, she married to Jean Francis Thelismond & and had their daughter Diana R. Thelismond in 1997 & adopted his kids Marie Francelaine Thelismond, Frantz Gerald Thelismond, and Fredy Ralph Thelismond.

Judith had immense faith in God & was a church member at Holy Family Catholic Church that she attended regularly. She also attended Notre Dame D’Haïti Church for many function such as Jericho yearly.

Because of her enthusiasm and work ethic at the BHSF, Miami Cancer Institute where she last worked, she received awards including employee of the month awards and many other recognition.

Judith made sure her presence leaves a mark on everyone and everywhere she goes. She was known to be the Queen of entertainment. Her social life enlightened many and was loved by many: Family, colleagues, friends and neighbors. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with. Everywhere she went she made her mark & her presence was evident.

Judith was the queen and family superstar. She loved to dance & loved Haitian music. She loved to be around her family & friends. She was a people's person & had an unmatched personality. A true kindred spirit. You can count on her to make you laugh through your good and darkest times. Judith had the heart of gold & lived life to the fullest. Her favorite quote to say was “it’s one life to live”. She lived up to that motto until her last day. Judith will be known and remembered for her hearty laugh, infectious smile, and incredible dance moves. She was the life of the party m, everybody’s friend sister cousin auntie & most of all the best mother.

Judith made her transition into eternity on September 12, 2023. She leaves us to cherish her wonderful memories, her thoughtful words. Her husband & children, mother, siblings, aunts, uncles, as well as host of close relatives & friends.
