Kerline Charles

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Kerline Charles was a shining example of resilience, love, and determination. Her mother Claudette Charles and father Nevè Charles, wanted a better life for Kerline. They brought her to the United States at 15.

Here, Kerline attended Miami Edison Sr. High School, graduating in 1989. She pursued her passion for beauty, becoming a licensed cosmetologist at NST. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to open her own nail salon, Nails by Us.Kerline was a devoted mother to four daughters: Ashley, Stephanie, Sabine, and Bianca. She was the eldest of four siblings: Herby, Natacha, Nancy, and Claude and amazing aunt to Gabriel Jean, Anayah & Eliza Baker. Her love for family was unwavering, and she instilled the importance of unity and support.Kerline's warmth and generosity drew people to her. She had a flair for high fashion, cooking, dancing, and living life to the fullest. Her home was always open; welcoming family and friends with love and compassion. She was the sweetest, most genuine soul you’ve ever known.Kerline Charles' legacy is one of love, kindness, and generosity. Her impact on those around her will continue to inspire and uplift.
