Leonne Cesant

After a courageous battle with few illnesses, Leonne passed away peacefully at her home in  Homestead. Leonne was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on September 26, 1926. Leonne would have been 92 years old in September, 2018.

She was married to Janvier Pierre Louis (deceased on August 14, 2013) and was the beloved mother to 8 children: Jocelyne, Nicole, Yolande, Marie Carmelle, Dieudonné, Margarette, Gerald (deceased) and Jean Pierre Louis, most of them living in Haiti.

She is survived by her Grandchildren: Roberson Carilus, James Pierre Louis, Carine Cantave, Anite, Alexander and Jaden Pierre Louis and her sister Odette Cessant. Leonne will forever be remembered by her devoted Christian brothers and sisters. Leonne touched the lives of many people with her community devotion, smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.
