Marie Claude Dalge, known to her friends and family as Meda, was born to Madame Emmilia Comette (Deceased) and Monsieur Capable Dalge (Deceased) on August 12, 1946 in La Coupe Port de Paix.
Meda was the oldest of her five siblings, two sisters; Yole-Mirtha Raphael (Deceased), Irene Charles, two brothers; Jn-Rico and John Paul, they are both Deceased. Meda left Haiti in 1971 to seek a better way of life in Nassau, Bahamas. There she found the love of her life, Federic Mesadieu and she stayed there for about three years and went back to Haiti Between 1975 and 1976, Meda made another attempt and left Haiti to move to the United States. She was a hard working woman.
In the mid 80's, Meda had decided to accept Christ as her Lord and Savior. First Interdenominational Church, Ever since, she has been a devoted Christian. In the mid 90's, Meda moved to Naples to be with her sister Irene Charles. She became amember at First Haitian Baptist of Naples. She was also a devoted member at the Women's Ministry A.K.A Group Dame. Meda was a woman of faith. She was always there to uplift youwhen you were down.
She was a mother to all, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to anyone in need. Meda was a hard worker, always striving to provide the best for her family. She worked long hours caring for others with compassion and dedication. Despite the challenges she faced, she never lost her faith or her positive outlook on life.
Her faith in God was unwavering, and she found solace and strength in her relationship with Him. She was a devoted member of her church, always eager to serve and support her fellow believers. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, and she was loved and respected by all who knew her.
In her later years, Meda continued to be a source of inspiration and encouragement to those around her. She faced each day with grace and dignity, never losing her sense of humor or herinfectious smile. She was a true example of faith, love, and resilience.
Marie Dalge, or Meda as she was affectionately called, will always be remembered as a loving Super Mother, The Best Grandmother, An Awesome Sister, A fabulous Aunt, The Best Cousin, The Great Godmother, The Greatest Mother in Law & Sister in Law in the World. a devoted Christian, and a cherished friend. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She was truly a blessing to all who crossed her path.
Meda loved and admired all of the children. She loved taking care of her grandchildren, she had a way of showing equal love to all. She taught them Creole, bible verses and how to pray. Best of all, her grandchildren fall in love with her Duri Ak Source Pois and Grio and Banane Peze.
After a long and painful suffering, The Lord called her on Thursday, February 1st, 2024 at Naples Community Hospital around 2:40 in the morning. Our thoughts and prayers are with all members of the family during this difficult time. May Godgrant us peace and comfort as we mourn the loss of our dear Meda. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, dear Meda. You will always beloved and remembered. Her Favorite Word To Everyone… God Bless You.
