Marie Analia Francois

Mary Analia Francois also known as “yaya, Anaya” was born on August 3rd, 1960. Marie was born in Port-de-Paix (Chansolme), Haiti. Marie was born to Larose and Gabriel Francois. She was always a joyful and daddy’s little girl. She was 12 years old when her father passed away. She is the 7th sibling of 9 kids. Marie Antoinette Cadet, Gabellus François, Elmita François, Paul Etienne François, Sebastian François, Henriette B. François, Marie Analia François, Marie-Louis Louis, Yad Hudson François. Her early education in Haiti was in National Chansolme and Massiòn kafou.

Marie was an independent hard worker, ambitious, and possessed an entrepreneurial mind. She had her first child at the age of 21. Drop out of school to provide for her child as a single mother. She started her own business in Haiti, as a Food vendor making and selling food. She became so popular that everyone called her “Machan fritay”. Marie had 6 more kids. She was so passionate about being a great mother that she strives to provide a better life for all her kids by bringing them into the US. She worked at Courtyard Marriot Hotel for 13 years as a Housekeeper. She was so ambitious that she made time to attend school to learn a second language. She retired at the age of 59(i think). Her routine for every week was Monday (choir practice) Tuesday (church service) Wednesday (Bible study) Thursday (Fasting Service) Friday (Cleaning day) Saturday (ti machè) Sunday (Church). She loves helping others before helping herself. She never took a day off because she always says “When I’m gone, that’s when I'll rest.”

Leaving survivors are the sevens James Smith Petit, Nerline blanc, Nickelson blanc, Jean Francois Blanc, Nerfise Blanc, Meprisia Blanc, Viergela François, grandchildrens are Holy, Barline, King, Marcellus, and Annarielle.
