Marie Chantal Rose Seraphin was born on March 13, 1957 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She was the daughter of Alfred Séraphin and Marie Raymonde Baptiste. She attended Salésienne Sisters for Elementary and Lycée Francois Duvalier for High School. In 1981, Chantale attended Coscomart where she studied to become a licensed beautician. Two years later, she opened up her beauty salon. In 1984, she immigrated in the United States. She continued to follow her dreams and worked as a beautician in Miami.
In 1989, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl Keshia. On December, 2nd 1994, she joined Larousse Telfort in holy matrimony. From that blessed union, were born Latrisse and Lawrence. Chantal was a true servant of the Lord and was devoted to her Church. She was a member of Fraternity Baptist Churh for many years. Just last year, she was ordained and licensed as a pastor in this very church. She dedicated her life to her ministry despite all the obstacles that she was facing. Chantal was a beloved mother, wife, sister aunt and friend. She was always willing to help others. She was full of life, and cared for her family and friends.
Chantal is survived by her husband, Larousse Telfort, her Children Keshia Derosier, Latrisse and Lawrence Telfort, her grandson King Nunez, her brothers Marc Harry Baptiste, Jean Robert Baptiste, Ralph Baptiste, her sister-in-law, Jocelyne Baptiste (Sanon) her nephews and nieces Dimitri Baptiste, Youri Baptiste, Tatiana Thony (Baptiste) Raphaella Baptiste, her aunt Marie Therese Gordon, her cousins, Gislaine Cadet, Marjorie Damas, Anne Marie Colas, Mireille Baptiste, and Florence Peterburs.
Chantal passed away tragically on March 20, 2023 at the age of 66. May our Lord received our beloved in his kingdom. May she rest in peace. We would like to extend our deepest appreciation and thanks to all of you, family and friends who show love and support during these difficult moments. We truly believe that our beloved Chantal will find peace in the house of her father. She will live in our hearts, and we will cherish her memory forever.
