Matthew Jones was born December 10,1979 in Thomasville, Georgia. His mother Shelby Jones later decided to move back to Winter Park, Florida where Matthew and his two siblings grew up. He departed his earthly life Saturday October 28th, 2017 from his home in Orlando, Florida. Growing up Matthew spent summers with his siblings and cousins at his now deceased grandfather and aunt's home. He was a very family oriented man and treasured displaying his love and affection for his mother Shelby. He was a loving person, and would often say "Why don't people love each other anymore?". Matthew attended Trade School in hopes of becoming a Construction Foreman. He also attended worship service at Mt. Sinai Seventh-day Adventist Church with his companion Marie Servere who is an active member. There is where he continued to build a relationship with God. His interests included spending quality time with family, his baby girl Ari, working, helping others, dancing, reading, music and drawing. He devoted much of his time and energy as a caregiver to his mother. Mr. Matthew Jones will forever be missed and leaves to cherish his Mother Shelby Jones (Orlando, FL), his precious daughters Arianna Jones and Matasia Jones both of Orlando, Fl. His baby sister, Shamara (Warren) Owens (Orlando, FL), a brother, Shantoe Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Haughty.
