Mrs. Missolene Buissson, was born and raised in Port-Salut, Haiti. She was born to the union of Manite and Thermonfils on
November 29th, 1945. She was affectionately called “Tica” by her friends and family. In the quest for a better life for herself and her family she decided to move to Port-Au-Prince after she gave birth to her youngest son. In 2006, she left her native country Haiti and immigrated to the United States where she lived with her only daughter.
Tica was energetic, a vibrant soul who kept the enthusiasm in the family. She was kind-hearted and was always thinking of ways to help elevate others. Tica has left a void in our hearts that cannot be filled, our long-lasting memories of her will live on forever. She was a remarkable woman who represented a pillar of strength for our family. She was a woman of great faith, she was a giver, and a hard-worker.
Tica was a devoted mother, one who strived for the well-being and the success of her children. Although Tica grew up in a less fortunate family; she made sure that her own children received the best education; as she was very passionate about knowledge. Without question, Tica is the one who was responsible for shaping each of her children’s lives to reflect who they are today in society.
On Tuesday, November 6th, 2018 Mrs. Missolene Buisson transcended this earthly life,
She was tragically taken from our lives and replaced with memories and tears.
She has left to mourn the dearest loved ones who share the memories of her wonderful life:
Her sons: Sony Berger, Jean-Yves & Jean Rigaud Buisson.
Her daughter: Martine Eugene
Her brothers: Jean Jeanot Buisson & Brunel Buisson
Her sister: Sonide Buisson
Her grand-children: Samantha Raymond, Kervens Buisson and Kerry Berger.
Tica was loved by many and will be missed by all. Our beloved Tica is gone and we are all in total despair by her sudden death. Over the past week, as we reflect on her life and remember what she meant to each one of us as a mom, a sister, an auntie, a grandma and a friend; only her strength through her years of loving and nurturing has afforded us the courage to move forward.
May God bless her and give her soul eternal peace.
