Monnelus Cesar was born November 10, 1951 in Port de Paix, Haiti. He was born to the parents of St. Flora Cetout and Montilus Cesar. He was the eldest of seven children. His brothers and sisters’ names were: Terramou Cesar, Morales Cesar, Nerelia Cesar, Morelis Cesar, Sainveda Cesar, and Lorina Cesar. Cesar as he was known by everyone was a kind, giving, and happy men of God. Since a child he was always smiling, cracking jokes, and being the life of the party. He loved to travel, play dominos, watch WWE wrestling (he loved John Cena, so much that when the “you can’t see me song came on you can see him smiling and singing along with the television). Cesar was the kind of person that if you called him, he would always answer and if for any reason he missed your call he would call you right back. He loved his family and friends.
In 1978 he moved to Bahamas for greater opportunities. There he met his first wife Feda Cesar. In 1980 they both moved to Florida to obtain the American dream. Cesar became a chief to provide for his family.
He worked at Sunfish Grill for many years and held different side jobs to ensure that his family was well taken care of. He later remarried Betty Cesar. He had two beautiful daughters and five handsome sons: Fedner Cesar, Monel Cesar, Imose Cesar, Godwin Cesar, Susan Cesar, Jimmy Cesar and Monnelus Cesar Jr. He leaves behind twelve beautiful grandchildren: Jalen Cesar, Giovonni Cesar, Chance Cesar, Anyssa Cesar, Aixana Pierre, Nevaeh Fifi, Imesha Stewart, Imani McCray, Natalia McCray, Moses McCray, and Malek McCray.
Sadly, on August 4, 2021, he was taken from us and was called back home to be with Heavenly Father.
