Prestime Eril was born in Baraderes, Haiti on January 1st, 1977, son of Richet Eril and Norvelia Simeon. Prestime moved to the United States in 1992 when he was 15 years old. He was an Alumni of Homestead Senior High School. After graduating from high school, he went on to obtain his CNA license, whilst pursuing his professional career in Culinary Arts. Prestime then relocated to Orlando, FL at the age of 26 to build a better life for his family where he officially began his career as a chef at Tony Romas.
His wife will remember him as her best friend, the head of the household, and her life-long partner. He blessed her with an amazing family and made sure she was always happy and always keeping a smile on her face.
His kids will remember him as a beautiful soul who was touched in the name of Jesus. Prestime was the father of 9 beautiful children who always maintained his respect, while showing his children the way. He set the example for his sons, showing them how to be head of the household. His spirit will live through them, as his legacy and everything he’s instilled within his children will forever live on.
His family will remember him as very selfless, hardworking, energetic, joking, and a slow to speak quick to listen individual. He was a family man, always putting together events for his loved ones to be around each other. With his “no task is too big” attitude and never making any excuses, he was surely the man to get the job done. He wanted the best for his loved ones and would do anything in his ability to lend a helping hand to who needed it.
His friends will remember him as “Eril”. He always had a huge smile and great energy that was highly infectious. He treated all his friends as family. He was a great friend, confidant, and a comedian at heart. He never violated his loyalty to his friends and anything you shared with him was a secret safe with him only.
For Prestime, a joke and laughter was his remedy. His infectious smile, energy, and laughter would make your day no matter what kind of day you were having. He lit up any room he entered, and his presence was so transformative he left a piece of himself with everyone he met. His courageous/brave spirit, love for his country, his contribution to being the change in his family’s life, and Haiti, is a true testament to his character.
