Rodrigue Exilus

On January 16th, 1959, Rodrigue Exilus was born in La Gonave, Haiti from the deeds of his father Soimeus Exilus and his mother Ilomise Germain, both currently deceased.  He came from a large extended family as both parents had children already, each on their side. His birth brought joy and purpose to them and soon three other siblings followed.  At the age of 27, Rodrigue migrated to the United States.  He is known to have a simple and quiet life with his beloved wife of 26 years, Evelyne Juste.  They attended church together for a while and helped at different levels in the church community.  But at one point, for reasons that he kept to himself, he withdrew from his church activities and stayed home while always encouraging his wife to go on without him.

He is father to Cedette Exilus Cribe, Bensky Exilus, Kenny Exilus, Moseline Exilus and Frantz Exilus (deceased). He was a brother to Yonel Exilhomme, Yves Exilus, Michelet Exilus, Louisane Exilus. Other siblings include Elvine, Odange and Jonas Exilus, deceased. His pleasure among others was to be around his children and grandchildren.  As he died on September 8, 2023, Rodrigue is survived by his six grandchildren, numerous nephews, and nieces all the other members of his large family. He will be missed by his dear wife, his family and friends who remain stunned and deeply affected by his death.
