If it is in this life alone that we hope in Christ, we are the most miserable of all men.
Smyley Fontaine Charles was born on July 27th, 2001, in Petionville, Haiti, to Esmeralda Charles and Jacques Fontaine; Smyley completed his primary education in Haiti then moved permanently to the US in 2012 alongside his mother. While residing in the US, Smyley was an intelligent scholar and devoted son. Aside from his academics, Smyley truly lived to the fullest through simple pleasures such as music, football and spending quality time with his family and friends. Through his time spent on earth, Smyley showed that he was the true definition of loyal “giving or showing firm and constant support”. He left his mark on anyone he came across and left his footprints in the hearts of those who loved him.
On Tuesday, October 10th, 2023, Smyley was called Home to be with the Lord. Smyley's beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of His parents; Mother: Esmeralda Charles and Father: Jacques Fontaine; His aunties: Patricia Pierre, Evelyne Joseph and Shirley Charles; His uncles: Frantz Charles, Duvanel Pierre, and Jean Joseph; His cousins: Gabriel Charles, Ashley Mills, Prince Charles, Elfanzo Joseph, Davidson Joseph, Falandine Joseph and His Grandparents: Esperanta Charles and Franck Charles.
May His Soul Rest In Peace.
