Solange Thys

Solange Thys was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti on November 18th, 1942. She was the oldest daughter of her two siblings, Gladys Vilharson and Carole Vilharson Registre. In 1987, Solange came in the United States, where she lived and worked for many years. She worked as a childcare worker and a housekeeper for many years in Miami, Florida.

Solange loved to take care of her family. She always felt that it was her job to do so. She always believed that no matter the circumstances in life, one should always respect the family. She had a giving heart, was devoted to her family and friends. In 2009 she retired and came to Orlando every month just to spend time with her family members. She loved cooking, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Solange never had kids of her own, but she was a mother, an aunt to her niece Kadidja Edmond Malivert, a godmother and aunt to Slanda Consolable Delisnor. She was a grandmother to Jallen, Kaviana, Slowane, and Saima. Solange was blessed to share her life and leaves a legacy with the people she loved dearly.

In 2018, Solange gave her life to Christ and was a faithful member of Church of God Valley of Blessing.

Solange is survived by the love of her life:

Her sister: Gladys Vilharson Consolable who was her caregiver for six months;

Her sister: Carole Vilharson Registre

Her nieces: Kadidja Edmond Malivert, Slanda Consolable Delisnor, Edwina Registre Wallace Her nephews: Junior Malivert, Amos Delisnor, Aderson Cesar, and Joseph Registre, Jr.

Her Grandchildren: Jallen, Kaviana, Slowane, Saima
