Solitesse St. Louis (70) was born to Dontesse St. Louis and Soline Politesse on February 15, 1951 in Saint Louis du Nord, Haïti and was called home October 10, 2021. Solitesse migrated to Eleuthera, Bahamas and lived there several years. He immigrated to Miami, Florida in 1980 and worked as a prep cook/bartender at News Cafe for 30 years. Solitesse was known as a people’s person always offering a lending hand to serve and give to others. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching basketball, and playing dominoes. Solitesse was loved and respected by his coworkers, family, and friends. A personable person who sought unity, love, and happiness within himself and others. Most importantly, he was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. He will definitely be missed and cherished forever.
He is survived by five daughters and four sons: Aliette St. Hilaire, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with a Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia Practice, Kerlaine St. Louis, Associates in Arts, Solitude Payne, Registered Nurse, Cindy St. Louis, Registered Nurse, Judith Spicer, Master’s in Public Administration, Corporal Gary St. Louis, US Marine, Max St. Louis, Entrepreneur, Babinski Andre, Entrepreneur, and Alan Charles, Entrepreneur. His children are: Aliette St. Hilaire, Kerlaine St. Louis, Solitude Payne, Cindy St. Louis, Judith Spicer, Gary St. Louis, Max St. Louis, and Alan Charles.
