Telicia Delva

April 23, 1933 — June 11, 2019

Telicia Delva

Telicia Delva, affectionately known as “Sister Felix” was born on April 23rd, 1933 at Pilate North part of Haiti to the parentage of the late Soufran and Vercilia Delva. She had one sister and three brothers, who preceded her in death.

At a young age she was joined in Holy Matrimony to herhusband, Felix Jean Philippe, who passed away in less than a year of marriage. From their union she conceived her firstdaughter. Sr. Felix left Pilate to reside in Gonaives in search of a better life for her child and herself. There she met her secondhusband, with whom she conceived two sons.

During some of life’s difficulties, she came to know Christ and accepted Him as her Lord and Savior in 1964. Since then she became a strong servant of the Lord by serving others. Because she was a prayer warrior, her focus was to pray for people. Sr. Felix took pleasure in asking people for their phone number so she could call them to pray with them. She always gave the best advice possible and encouragement for people who were facing difficulties themselves.

Since then Sr. Felix had lost two of her three children before she relocated to the United States to live with her son and his family. As she was experiencing some health difficulties, she remained focus on the Lord and his goodness. Despite the diagnosis about her terminal illness, Sr. Felix was known as someone with a strong spirit who never gave up.

On June 11, 2019 at 9:10 AM, Telicia Delva affectionately known as Sr. Felix was called Home to be with the Lord.
