Wilene Gomand was born October 4, 1981 to Vianise Gomand in Miami, Florida. She was raised in a baptist church through childhood, and later moved to Orlando, FL where she completed her formal education and blossomed into adulthood.
Wilene's life seemed short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
Wilene was an entrepreneur, selling vacation packages. In her leisure, she enjoyed traveling, watching reality shows, dancing and most importantly spending time with her daughter & family. Wilene made sure she was always, the best dressed and wore the best cologne on the shelf. Every outing was a great time, filled with jokes, laughter and love. She would plan every trip, plan all family gatherings for every holiday, and never forgot anyone's birthday. Wilene loved her family dearly and had nicknames for everyone. Juice, juicy fruit, all her "nephews" and so on...
She loved to laugh, especially at herself. She could tease and needle, but never out of malice. She placed great value on a good joke. She knew how to be a true and loyal friend, sister, daughter, mother and comedian. She honored and nurtured her many friendships with her generous and giving soul.
On Tuesday, December 18, 2018, Wilene Gomand was truly blessed
and was granted her angel wings
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Her wife Vanessa Brown
Her daughter: Ahniyah Gomand
Her loving mother: Vianise Gomand
Her siblings: Milene Cajuste, Evelyne Francois & Wildy Francois
Her sister in law: Latresha R. Smith-Francois
Her uncles: Mercidieu & Tibe Gomand.
We're going to miss you. Your decency, sincerity, and genuine soul will stay with us forever.
So, thru our tears, let us see the blessings of knowing and loving you.
A great daughter, mother, wife, sister and friend. As we listen to music, we'll always remember your laughter, smile and powerful voice of yours.
We love you Wilene and that will never change.
